1970

Founded in Audiometric Sales & Service

Environmental Technology Corporation was established, beginning its journey as an audiometric sales and service company - laying the foundation for decades of occupational health excellence.

1972

Interstate Mobile Audiometric Testing

ETC expanded its reach with interstate mobile audiometric testing services, bringing hearing conservation programs directly to industrial facilities across the region.

1970s

Comprehensive Hearing Conservation Programs

Services grew to include computer analysis of audiometric test data, noise surveys, employee education, and the Occupational Hearing Conservation Course for clients wishing to conduct their own in-house testing.

Mid‑70s

First Microprocessor-Based Audiometer

ETC was responsible for the research and development of the first microprocessor-based audiometer, which made its debut at the National Safety Congress in Chicago. A smaller, more compact version was subsequently developed and made available to clients nationwide.

1982

Expanded Mobile Onsite Testing Services

A new mobile unit was added, significantly expanding onsite testing capabilities to include vision screening, respirator fit testing, and additional occupational health services.

ETC is a provider and supplier of spirometry and hearing conservation equipment from multiple manufacturers, with a full-service calibration and repair department.
